The Platonov Festival featured 50 performances of 23 plays including 31 street theatre shows and 4 promenade audio performances, 7 concerts, including 4 open-airs, an exhibition, and 16 educational and literary programmes.
The largest musical event of the Platonov Festival ‘World Music in the White Well.’ The concert featured La Dame Blanche (Cuba), SANTROFI (Ghana), and S.A.R.S. (Serbia). Traditionally, the compositions performed by the artists reflected the unique cultures of different peoples around the world, combining traditional motifs with modern rhythms.
The closing event of the festival’s academic music programme was a concert by Kim Gyehee with the Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the National Artist of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Verbitsky.
On June 26 — 27, the Platonov Festival will stage the performance A Gentle Creature by the City Theatre Company (Brazil) in collaboration with Valle University (Colombia). The play was directed by two graduates of the GITIS university, Alejandro González Puche (Colombia) and Ma Zhenhong (China), who have always been truly passionate about Russian literature.
Sultonbek Abdurakhimov (bass-baritone, Uzbekistan), Maria Jelich (soprano, Serbia), and Grigorij Tsutskovski (tenor, North Macedonia) performed with the Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Igor Verbitsky, an Honored Art Worker of the Voronezh Region.
Traditionally, the Platonov Festival pays special attention to the outstanding 20th-century writer, in whose honor it is named. Every year researchers of Andrei Platonov's work gather in Voronezh for this occasion.

The International Theatre Programme of the XIV Platonov Arts Festival was opened with a production by the Delia Olivella National Arts Center and People’s Theatre workshop (Colombia) based on the story by Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez, No One Writes to the Colonel.
