One of the brightest and most anticipated musical events of the 15th Platonov Arts Festival was the concert by the world-famous opera singer with a sumptuous soprano, Aida Garifullina. The evening was a genuine celebration of high music, the beauty of the voice, and sincere emotion, bringing outstanding artists and an appreciative Voronezh audience together on one stage.
For many spectators, meeting Aida Garifullina was a long-awaited event. Her name is well known to connoisseurs of opera around the world: performances on leading stages, participation in large international projects, impeccable vocal technique, and particular stage charisma have made her one of the most striking representatives of the contemporary classical scene.
Joining Aida Garifullina at the concert were talented soloists — tenor Kirill Sikora and baritone Semyon Antakov. Their performances became an organic part of the program, adding dramaturgical depth, vivid musical color, and expressive duet moments to the evening. The concert’s special atmosphere was enhanced by the accompaniment of the Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor and Honored Art Worker of the Voronezh Region Igor Verbitsky. The evening was hosted by Professor Bronislav Tabachnikov. «The Voronezh audience gave me joy and pleasure! The way they received me! It is enormous happiness. Probably the greatest gift for an artist. When you are welcomed so in a city where you sing for the first time. I am in Voronezh for the first time and I already adore you all!»
