On the eleventh day of the festival, Tula State Academic Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky presented the performance "Innermost Love", the traditional reading relay was held, and the Book Fair finished its work.
"Innermost Love" is a mystery performance by Gennady Trostyanetsky based on the works of Andrey Platonov, including the stories "Fro", "Yushka", "Aphrodite", the stories "The Foundation Pit", "The Juvenile Sea", "This is an attempt to reveal Platonov’s work, indicating the topics that seem to be main for him: what a person lives for, what is the price of their life, how and why "dehumanisation" occurs, how the relationship between a person and society develops, - said the deputy general director for the artistic and creative part of the Tula Academic Drama Theater named after the production. M. Gorky Elena Popova. “It seems to me that all this sounds especially acute today.”
A reading relay was held in the foyer of the Small Hall of the Voronezh Concert Hall. Guests of the festival, cultural and art figures, public figures of Voronezh, as well as citizens took part in it. Andrey Platonov's stories "The July Thunderstorm", "Love for the Motherland, or the Sparrow's Journey" and "Nikita" were heard at the relay-reading.
As part of the literary programme of the festival, the Book Fair has completed its work, bringing together about 160 independent publishing houses this year. It was visited by about 10,000 people.
