The Street Theater Festival «Stranniki» was visited by over 35,000 spectators in just two days! Twelve groups from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Almetyevsk, and Mytishchi presented 30 open-air performances. Among them were the street theater «Light Wings», Mikos clown theatre, the theatres «Mr. Pejo’s Wandering Puppets», «Plasticine Rain», «Heavenly Carousel», «Vokrug», «Papiemashenniki», the theatre company «ZaUglom», Pavel Alyokhin, the Voronezh Academic Street Theatre (VAU Theatre), the theatre «Petrushkina Sloboda», and Tinto Brass Band Street Orchestra.
Young viewers had the chance to participate in the workshops on making the glove puppet «Petrushka» and the puppet «Petrushka — Acrobat», led by the director of the theatre «Papiermashenniki».
The Street Theater Festival «Stranniki» was organized in cooperation with the Russian Union of Street Theatres and Artists.
