Boris Berezovsky is an outstanding virtuoso pianist, one of the most sought-after performers in the world. He graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (class of Eliso Virsaladze), took private lessons from Alexander Satz. In 1988, at the age of 19, he made his successful debut at London Wigmore Hall, and in 1990 he was awarded a golden medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
The pianist regularly performs with the best orchestras and collaborates with famous musicians. Among the venues where his solo concerts were held are the Berliner Philharmonie, the Amsterdam Royal Concertgebouw, the London Royal Festival Hall, the Champs-Elysées Theatre in Paris, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, the Megaron Hall in Athens, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
Boris Berezovsky is a participant of the largest international music festivals in Russia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Japan, and the USA. His extensive discography includes about 40 solo and ensemble CDs and DVDs, recorded on such well-known labels as Teldec and Mirare/Harmonia Mundi.
