Tango After Dark

"Tango After Dark" is a fascinating theatrical tango experience that merges the intoxicating music of the great Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla with German Cornejo’s breathtaking choreography to reveal tango in its most authentic form. This mesmerising show combines the sensuous side of tango with the rawness and quick-fire precision of this dance to create a unique and exhilarating performance.

The choreography of the performance takes tango out of ghetto and brings this dance up to a wider and more expressive scale. German Cornejo dares to adorn his show with ballet lifts and pirouettes, which are not traditional expressive means for classical tango. Cornejo himself also takes part in this performance along with his permanent partner Gisela Galeassi.
