"World Music in the White Well" is one of the largest and most anticipated events of the Platonov Arts Festival, which takes place annually in a unique picturesque place of the Voronezh region. The open-air event, set in chalk cliffs with spectacular views of the lake, brings together thousands of spectators enjoying music from different parts of the world. The compositions performed by foreign and Russian artists reflect the culture of their regions, rethinking traditional musical motives and giving them a contemporary sound.

Ghana

For the first time in Russia!

Florence Adooni presents a unique and extremely rare musical direction - Frafra Gospel. Moreover, her performance style differs from the original spiritual genre of northern Ghana - the singer was born and raised in Kumasi, in the epicenter of high-life music. By combining modern dance motives and traditional performance, Florence Adooni was able to give a new and unusual sound to gospel music.

The unique music of Florence Adooni has generated great acclaim around the world. Her debut single, "Mam Pe'ela Su'ure", released on Philophon Records, became a great success not only in Ghana but also far beyond the country's borders.

Florence Adooni will perform in Russia for the first time at the "World Music in the White Well" concert.

ALI

Indonesia

For the first time in Russia!

Ali is a band founded by musicians from Jakarta with the goal of creating a new groove and sound to the modern Indonesian scene. Their songs combine 70s psychedelic funk, cinematic soul, afro beat and disco.

Ali members Arswandaru, John Paul Patton and Absar Lebeh write lyrics for their songs in Arabic. They are inspired by the art of the Middle East, which has been part of Indonesian culture for many centuries, and describe their music as "Middle Easten Beats with South East Twists."

The Indonesian band will perform in Russia for the first time as part of the XIII International Platonov Arts Festival.

TMBATA ORCHESTRA

Armenia

TmbaTa Orchestra is a musical project founded in Yerevan in 2013 by the famous Armenian rock musician Arik Grigoryan. The sound and style of the band represent an alternative and modern interpretation of traditional Armenian folk music, which creates a unique and special musical genre. TmbaTa is rock, folk, and even avant-garde, where you can find elements of jazz and classical music.

Tickets for the concert "World Music in the White Well" are already on sale. They can be purchased in the "Programme" section, at the festival ticket office, in the festival’s community VKontakte, and on the website of the ticket operator afisha.ru. There is a dynamic pricing system for the " World Music in the White Well" concert: currently tickets can be purchased at the best price, but on May 1st the price will increase.
