The Train Is Leaving in… is the first project of the 2sisters theatre company, founded by Irina Mikheeva. This experimental dance drama inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina explores the heroine’s inner world and emotional turmoil. The director’s vision focuses on three key characters, Anna, her son Seryozha, and Vronsky. The choreographic concept was created by Olga Labovkina. The lead roles are performed by former Mariinsky prima ballerina Daria Pavlenko and Bolshoi Theatre principal Vladislav Lantratov.
